I topped mine out a couple of days ago. Got a little frisky. Kept going after 85. Anyone really know true top end, flat ground, no wind. Gotta be 100mph?

before any engine swaps or mods, I was clocked @104 going down a steep bridge, by a cops radar..

I'm not even going to attempt that with my '89. I think the motor would blow with the 4 speed I have, it's majorly low geared. My wheels also sound like the bearings would melt down at that speed. I need to to do a little updating and a few mods before attempting that stuff. (but can't wait!)

I can't remember how fast I went in the auto festiva I had.. I was only 16 so 85 probably scared me. Even with the 5-speed festiva it doesn't want to go above 85.. i'm starting to think the timing belt is stretched.
