According to google currency conversion calculator that'd be $7702.34 in US dollars. Either way its a good chunk of change. You'd think if he had $8000 offers from oil companies pouring in that he'd just sell to them and be done with it  He sounds a little cuckoo/conspiratorial if ya ask me lol. Hint: *Not actually pictured (so they cant have any trace of its whereabouts) but pretty close to it.

Also, Canada auto tax laws mush SUCK! License it for $660 per year?! I'd venture to guess over half of us on here didn't pay that much for our festivas to begin with. Heck I've been driving one or more at a time since '03 and I doubt I've payed $660 in total licensing yet lol. Its $20 per year base tag fee and the taxes are usually in the $5-6 range for mine lol.

I've met a few paranoid/conspiratorial people like that. Often that is due to years of smoking dope.

I saw one listed on Craigslist the other day for $5,000. It was a small car lot with a delusional owner. The floor pans were rusted out and the seats look like they were pulled out of a dump. A buddy called to check the price and $5k was right. I want to save gas but not by doing the Fred Flyntstone thing. :p

                        This is just too funny!

I don't think he's looney or conspiratorial, he's just a crook full of "bull" that's trying to pull a fast one on some poor fool! No one with a firm grip in reality would believe the line about an oil company. That's like the old urban myth about a new experimental car that gets 100 mpg that accidentally got sold by a dealer and the oil/car companies track it down to buy it back.

Someone should email and ask him why he wants $7500 for a car that can be bought here in the States for under $500. People like that really annoy me.
