  • question about tach cluster

    hey guys i need some help, installed my cluster that i bought from some body off here, apparently it donst work, lights are all wrong, eg, when the hazzards are on it shows the park brake and oil light. tach dosnt show any idle. any suggestions.

    I was told it was functioning,
    B6 with lightweight Flywheel, FMS street cam
    Holy heck gee willickers its fast!!drool

    Is it a KM tach cluster? You might have to re-wire it like the 110 MPH clusters.

      Was it an original festiva one, or was it from another car? I believe some people used some out of other cars that had the same issue. Some simple rewiring was needed to get everything to read properly.
      The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

        yes its a metric cluster, all the way from germany. how does one go abouts re wiring the cluster to a mph one? i also think its out of a kia pride

          just gotta find the pin-out schematics and swap the pins into the correct locations. same thing i had to do when i was working on a turbo RX7 cluster.
          1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!

          T3/T4 Turbo Power! G5MR and BP since '04!

            i hate wiring, any idea where i can get schmatics for a pride, i am dumb when it comes to wiring
