  • Does my car have tilt steering

    dumb question I know....
    but I rember tilitng the steering and now I don`t know where the lever is

    1990 LX (Cannuck model)
    I will NOT drive a minivan

    If you do have tilt the lever is on the underside of the steering column.

      I thought it was only available in the 88 and 89 LX models.

      But yes, Ian is right, it's right under the steering column, it's a gray (IIRC) level. You just have to pull it down, and if you've never used it, pretty damn hard.

      My dad had it in his 89 LX for YEARS and never knew about it until I pulled on the lever one day. And it's really not much of tilt, you might get an inch or so of tilt out of it and that's all...

          tilt

          i saw one in the junkyard and saw how little it moved up so i did not buy it. i had a Chrysler that moved up more than a festiva

            My 90 L had it. Or atleast I think it was an L. Hell i dont remember I never drove the car and it was the one that went down in a blaze of fire.

            Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!
