I received a package in the mail today from my new hero junspeed! If you're considering buying from this guy DO IT! Shipping was prompt. His packaging is safe. His communication is great.
Replaced the decrepit cassette deck with a fully functional cd player. Also reconnected the other three speakers, which for some reason had their wires cut just before the speaker terminals.) Not sure why it took me so long to do such a simple job, surround sound is awesome!
You just remove the wiper assembly and replace the large gear with one from an early- mid 90's escort wagon. It makes the wiper rest in in the down position.

I love old cassette decks. They play iPods great with the adapter and thieves don't look twice at your car when they see one.
Festiva scored 75-90-90-75. I poured some oil in cylinder 4 and it shot up over 200PSI.
I'm guessing worn or stuck piston rings? My compression was fairly normal at the beginning of summer last year.
My truck did 60-80 PSI and went to 150 on the wet test. That explains why the thing seems to be so slow and gutless.
I was pondering some Seafoam in the crankcase. I'm due for an oil change anyway.
What do y'all recommend as a last effort to unstick piston rings?
Compression tests are only good for testing compression. Do a "Leak Down test" & some times you can actually hear the air passing around a burnt valve. And if you have the oil pan off. You might be able to hear the air rushing past the rings. Dont just assume that its your "Compression Rings" because you have poor compression. Jus my 2 cents
Some people like to read fiction,I prefer to read repair manuals. Weird I know- Henry Ford: "Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently" Fuseable Link Distribution Block repair link

I don't have a leak down tester or an air compressor.
I did a top end Seafoam treatment yesterday as suggested earlier. I drove to Dallas and back last night so it has some miles on it since.
I will compression test again tomorrow.
Have to clean a 1/2 gallon of water out of the passenger side floor board.. or at least try to probably frozen by now. I'd shoot the wife but I'll make her do something else which is much worse...
finished putting my e-series back together and painted it. Did a write up on it the custom drivetrain section. Got my b3 ready for install and now just waiting on clutch.
