repaired my wipers, the hole that used to hold the left wiper transmission in place blew out on the way to work this morning. I brought it home and pulled it all apart and cut a new piece of metal an mig welded it in, which I might add was a bit of fun to hold the repair piece and get the mig tip in to make a tack weld. But it is all back together and wipers are ready for rain again.
Lol Green Car hasn't had a fill-up over 5.5 gallons since we got her. For some reason when she gets down past half a tank she starts choking and coughing, need to pull the fuel pump someday and see whats up, but as long as we fill up before half tank she does fine. Last fill-up was 34.3, no bad for an auto running around in the mountains with Mel's lead foot on the pedal lol and thats without correcting for the 155/80R13 tires. Now Festevil getting right at 30, thats a problem, even for a 4 speed on 155/80R13s running pizza. Thats why he's sitting in the driveway with no motor right now lol My clutch is going to be here today, so hopefully it won't rain too much tomorrow
betting on the rubber tube at the top of the pump seperated from the rest of the assembly, easy fix.

Received a jdm 1.6L Miata engine for the Icetiva today. Great price compared to "unwarping" the head on the B6T, and replacing whatever else I melted. A few swap adventures ahead to put it in, but after searching here it seems it should all be workable. Anyone want to but a Miata intake or exhaust manifold, or a 5 speed tranny?
The number below has begun trending back up, finally. I is a happy boi

Stripping out the red 93. So many stuck bolts and crap, I thought I could have it done in a day, but there's always SOMETHING in the way. Ugh. Plus, previous owners have replaced bolts with SAE crap and larger heads than what was originally there... Meh, I'm just complaining.
Anyone want a PA R title and vin plates? Or the whole shell, either way. It needs work.
picked up a couple ball joints and an axle shaft... giggity lol

Finally installed a set of B6 headers. Could not put it in from the top. I had to sweep it in from the ground. It barely cleared the Aspire rad lower rad support. I have to make up 6-1/2" to the catalytic converter. Juat a temporary removable spacer. I will replace the cat with a test tube after it passes the emissions test.

That's how I had to install mine as well.

Put the new engine/trans combo in FestEvil and ran him 100 miles tonight... gas needle *seems* to be moving more slowly... time will tell. But he's running great though!
