Thanks for the information Brave, now if I could just find product numbers on this thing, I'd really like to make it nice again, while it doesn't leak now, I know eventually that it'll happen inevitably, and it'd be nice to have a stock pile of parts off to the side to just be able to repair it then and there

Finally put my AC in!!! [emoji592] first time ever having air conditioning in a car. Gets pretty hot here in Naples, now I'll survive some. Mechanic said I should get a new accumulator & orifice tube to blow colder or better. Now I'm learning about air conditioning. Keep it on circulate air and AC button on. Gonna get this car back in shape.

Ripped its heart out, finally. Ended up triple checking everything and still forgetting the right heater core hose. Bent it up.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Not really... The heads are slightly larger at the base but still 14mm. The threads are also slightly longer.
I did only use a ratchet to torque them the first time... Used a snap on cordless impact @ 110 ft lbs the second time haha.Last edited by Basement_Modder; 08-01-2014, 11:37 PM.1990 White L-Plus 5-speed rust-machine

Got the new timing belt and tensioner pulley in on. I was under the impression that the pulley should move laterally. At 14-20 ftlbs it doesnt move at all.
Am I missing something here?
Also, the little sock for the spring was destroyed. That shouldn't be a problem though right.Last edited by Chobobulous; 08-02-2014, 08:08 PM.

If you have the spring installed correctly, there should be some slight lateral movement in order to maintain the proper timing belt tension at all times.Last edited by bravekozak; 08-02-2014, 08:25 PM.
