Took pics of my side exit exhaust, pretty loud so I will install another Glass Pack behind the 25 inch long one to help reduce the loudness. It does pull a lot harder than before with seat of the pants dyno.

the rough sketches i put together in solidworks seem the principle idea should fit, however i need to research for a properly valved coil-over that will fit in the given area with the right amount of throw (which would need to be calculated after i test how much room is left for a redirectioning assembly that would change the struts force angle to a more outward one so it can all fit in place, all depending on strut/coil availability of course).
its hard to explain lol, hopefully i can use it as one of my semester projects.
the more simple stuff however is turbo upgrades, hopefully if my material costs end up close i might even have a prototype in a few months for a decent set of bolt-in rear disc adapters. if that small project ends up well ill be more than willing to openly post the CAD shematics and prints for others to use as well.
Trying to think of other things that ive been running through my mind. Most of them are suspension related, meant to replace the kinda crummy simplistic factory designs with something more akin to a proper race-car, without cutting into the unibody structure.
Years ago, i would have just cut in, now that im becoming an engineer i seem to be finding more fun in the challenge of working with previously designed restrictions instead.
getting close to 1am here now, as i really dig into things ill start picking back up my recording process and keep a good thread on the progress.1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!

The primary design involves a direct bolt-in tubular front suspension that ties together all the major mounting points but would also allow (with some body trimming of course on the fender arches since they really arent properly arched) for a lower dual A-arm style hub suspension. it would push the hub surfaces pretty far out and would necessitate the use of wheels with a very high offset to push the wheels back under the fenderwells.

Installed my rear mud flaps. Finally got around to welding in a stud to mount my center belt to for my harness. Rigged up a holy crap strap for the passenger (they need it the way I drive). Removed some stickers that had been on the car since I got it. And installed a mounting plate for my in car camera setup.
I have a few more things to get done tomorrow. Need to go to the JY and pick up an aspire spare. Might make a new upper grill and install my hid driving lights behind some cutouts rather than sticking out the front like they are now. Also, I need to pre-register for the Delaware park rally-x on Sunday!
