Not just today but a few hrs here & there this past week. Fixed a leaky proportioning valve, then replaced a bad master cylinder(2 days later), replaced rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines to the wheel cylinders because they were to rusty to remove, rear brake spring kit, resurfaced the rear drums, drilled out some broken bolts and retapped them to attach the brake lines correctly. But now I found a bunch of rust that will need repaired before next inspection.ROBc

Drove it to the shop to clean up the mess I made working on it yesterday. Yesterday's progress included oil change, tire rotation, body work, and welding a few holes shut in the exhaust.

Got some protege swoopies (already up for sale, doesn't fit my taste), a couple of mirror switches, a variable intermittent wiper switch, two more escort wiper gears to do my other two cars, a couple of ricey LED windshield washer nozzles, a nifty looking Isuzu I-Mark shifter knob. And my favorite score of the day, a three spoke steering wheel from a '99 MX6. First one I've ever seen like this, most of the mid '90s MX6/626 wheels, while very beefy and comfy, are grey with four spokes, and not that cool looking. This one is black, and pretty neat looking at least to me.

Indeed! Both of my girls and I will camp on the top friday night! The bottom will carry a BP for Will. And trans for Jack on the way back. Then later The girls will sleep on top and the wife and I will sleep on the bottom. I'll use a jump box and a little 12 volt fan for circulation. The door will be open and I'll cover the rear with a tarp.youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD

Hate to say nothing done to the Festiva didn't even drive it. Hate to say even more going with the Aspire on my daily commute. Slightly heavier which helps alot. Those expansions joints are bad enough to make my false teeth out.. and won't have those for another 30 years!91 rusty Festiva 260k
