wiper switch question

is a 87/88 mercury tracer wiper switch plug and play
for a Festiva ??

I swapped everything in that multifunction switch assembly except the wiper / cruise switch. The whole assembly is the same except for the wiper lever. The headlight switch was bad in the tracer I was working on. So I put the tracer's wiper/cruise stalk in a festiva assembly and replaced it. I feel very certain it will work. As a matter of fact I'm on a mission to find a dead tracer and rob that assembly and the entire cruise set up.

Will do. The festy multifunction switch (minus the wiper stalk) went right on the tracer. I am on a mission.
