Ok sorry for not posting this in my post about the 68 mustang but need help fast. My wife and brother went to pick it up and the guy was going to put it on the trailer and the steering wont turn... He said last time he drove it was a month ago and it didnt have this problem. It has manual steering and I cant think of what it could be unless the rack is stuck.

It does not turn at all and I believe they put steering wheel locks on 69 or 70... I told them to jack it up and try to turn the wheels with no weight on them.Comment

A 68 mustang doesn't have a rack, just a regular steering box.1960 willys pickup

haha wow the wheels were turned a little so like 5 guys had to pick the front end up and put it on the trailer. It was listed as 2200 and we offered 1600, well with all the trouble he was like 1400.Comment

Ok so I think it is the steering box which I could get a rebuild kit or a rebuilt one.. But yea think im gonna go with the flaming river box, pricier but way better in the end.Comment
