  • Buying back my old Festy!!

A couple of years ago I bought a silver 1990 GL with a blown a/t. It had A/C, rear dfrost awesome inside and out. Swapped it over to five speed named it Bruce and drove it till I lost my job and stupidly sold it to try and save my lease. I sold the crome rings and flaps here (almost lost some friends on the way) and figured i would never see it again. I'm sitting here in Va learning to be a soldier and pocking around on craigslist and low and behold, there it is! Bruce! talked the good man into holding it for me till i get back to kc in 3 weeks!! Very excited!!

Yea you do Marcus. It was like pulling a tooth but I felt the duplex was more important. I still lost the lease. Now I should be getting the old dog back in the pen. I will be taking massive amouts of pics and going for FOTM.

a little worst for wear, but over all its in real good shape. Rust has picked up a bit around the rear wheel. A few new dents and the finish has faded a lot. Engine ran terribly when I first drove home. New wires and replaced the vac cap I put on it when I swapped the tranny (it was on the intake and had rotted completely away). I was powerless, surging badly and spitting smoke and water, now it runs smooth and clear! More pics to come, gonna wash 'em up to day.

Note the 13" rims on the front(very similar pattern to stock) and the 12" snow tires in the rear.

Trying to get more pics, phone is fighting me.

Holy cow you aren't kidding. What are those from?!?! I've never seen wheels that much like them. And they are 13's and they are the same bolt pattern. That is CRAZY!
