  • Feeler: Group Buy for G-Timer

I figured this was the best place to put this, that way I can see if there is any interest before I even start an official group buy.
I have access to Passport G-Timers at a reduced cost and would like to know if there was enough people who wanted them to justify the work to get them at a reduced price. If you don't know what a G-Timer is here is the website. http://www.escortradar.com/gtimer.htm

I can get shipping for $8 a unit priority mail which is $4 cheaper than through the website. Here is the prices on the units.

    GT-1 $90
    GT-2 $155

Those prices aren't in concrete, but I can guarantee they will not go up, if anything they will go down if I get the right responses. Also, these prices are a little bit higher than what a dealer pays but not by much.
Let me know what you guys think. I also have access to reduced prices on other Passport products.

      I'm up for a GT-1.

If the price on the GT-2 gets closer to $100 I'll take that instead.

VVV It will mostly depend on how much money I have at the time of the order. I do like the GT-2 a lot more, but I'm also a cheap bastard.

My cost difference between the two is $60 so the GT-2 couldn't go down that much, but it is going to be the one I order because it can store 10 runs and it is easier to read.

I was thinking about ordering them in about two weeks or so if there was enough interest. I'd need about 12-20 people who want g-timers that way I can get them at these prices. If there is more I might be able to drop the prices.

Well, I was doing some looking on other boards and found this

The price for the GT-2 is lower than my cost from my distributor!! :x Those who want a G-timer would be best getting one from this website. Looks like I will be giving my distributor a call and asking what the deal is with that. Some much for a group buy. I was trying to help everybody out, but looks like this will be the best way.

Nice price on the GT-2. I'll wait a week, incase your supplier comes up with something for a group buy.

Chances are, that company ordered hundreds of them and got a discount that way.
