So I pull into Lowe's this evening in Enid, OK to return some stuff and buy more stuff (go figure) and what do I see as I'm walking in to the store? Another blue 'L' Festy that I've never seen in my town before. An '89. About 140K on it. Body was kind of dinged up but the brown interior was in excellent condition. Instantly I start to think, "Wonder if this guy wants to sell?" Turns out the kid near the Festiva is waiting for his dad who's talking to some other person in the parking lot. After a while the dad stops his other conversation when he figures out that I own the other Festiva parked nearby and I'm waiting for him. Within about 2.7 seconds we both say "Want to sell me your Festiva?" to which we both laugh and say "No!"
Said he's owned it for about 9 years and loves it. I told him about FordFestiva.com and promised him if he loved his Festy he'd get a kick our of this place so if you see a new member from Hennesy, OK, that's the guy.
