  • hello from Texas

Just found this forum. My Nissan truck finally gave out on me after 15 years. Picked up my Festiva about a month ago. Didn't want payments wanted good gas milage. Seen this car just sitting across the street at neighbours house for about 4 months. Walked over and asked him if it ran. He said yes. I asked if it was for sale. He said he was just about to go get for sale sign from Wal-Mart. I ask how much. He said $250. I said its mine! Been getting about 36-38 mpg hwy. I'm loving the little car. See my album for pics of it.

I'M taking before and hopefully after pics. This car came with no backseat. Seats in it a messed up. No cushion in driver seat. I've taken all the panels and carpet out of car. It has got dirt everywhere!

No name yet. Just put temperature switch in today. Now my gauge is working. Need to find hose diagrams to make sure everything is hooked up correct. I'm thinking I need crankshaft seal. Have oil leak when its running. Looks like its coming from timing belt area. Newbie to fixing cars.

Howdy. I'm about half an hour south of you.

There's a Festiva at the Pick'n'Pull Dallas South Central location. I believe it had a backseat. There's a Festiva in a yard here near Midlothian that has all the seats and the guy is pretty cheap.
