Hello all, Im a very new member here and just picked up an 89 Ford Festiva L for $275 It hadnt been running in four years but I replaced the fuel pump and all the fluids and it started up. My past rides were Suzuki Swift Gtis but Ive been eyeing this car for the last four years. Ive nicknamed the car snoopy dont know why but I have alot of plans for it. I used to own an escort Gt in the past so im a little familiar with mazda based cars. But I hope to get alot of info here.

It's a lot simpler to just convert to a Weber. You will get the extra power and fuel economy of EFI, when the carb is properly dialed in. See this thread:

Welcome to the site and tominmo is right about the weber carb, it's a good upgrade. Check out the search button if you need some help and if you can't find what you need, just ask.
