  • Question for all Fest drag racers

I just got done surfing Youporn....uh, I mean Youtube...... and I was watching the guys race their Festys at the strip. Anyways, it seems like every one of the vids show there being a problem hooking up for what seems to be a couple hundred feet. Why is it nobody goes to a wider, taller tire? If the transaxle would stay together, I would think they would get a faster launch, a higher mph, and a quicker time. Just curious.
