no emisions here...but we do have to get an inspection sticker. nothing bad, just another way for the state to make a bit of money. your suposed to have all working lights, no cracked window, working horn and a bunch of other crap they "check" but nobody does. just give them the 5 bucks and they will put a sticker on your car. like i said, an excuese for the state to make money. if we had emisions then all the state vehicles would have to be upgraded :lol:

Ahhhhhh......its nice not having to do emissions i buy a Festiva....and the first thing to do is pull the "kitty" out! Anybody else not have to do emissions?

actually in PA we have an emissions test every year and need a sticker for both including an inspection but on 1994 and back cars for emissions they just do a gas cap check so it doesnt matter what exhaust you run. but you will prbably get pulled over and fined if it is too loud.

No emissions testing and Not even an annual mechanical inspection in SC.
We had annual mechanical inspections in the 80's and 90's, but the law changed and inspections ended in 1996 or 1997.

Umm I guess you don't have kids or plan on having kids.. their the ones that will get most problems from air pollution. I thought I read a couple posts on here that festiva's past smog inspections with no cats? The more I think about I probably won't gut or get rids of my cats the worlds screwed up enough as it is.

they do a pipe test in this part on pa on older cars i dont have a kitty on mine and it passed the pipe emissions no prob but thats cause mechanics a friend
