  • Well i traded off the GTX........

I couldn't help it, i wanted to get the GTX going, but when i sarcastically offered it as trade and the guy actually agreed, so i couldn't resist.... yesterday i towed the GTX 4 hours to his house and dropped it off and picked up the new ride

So i present, my new to me, KLZE POWERED :evil4: 2002 Protege 5

This pic was from the previous owner of it

It's a bit rough around the edges but as far as i can tell theres nothing major wrong with it and i have not spotted a single bit of rust anywhere on it......... I had a picture of the rear but i accidently deleted it before i loaded it onto the computer, it also has a trailer hitch and it came with the stock 17" rims and a valid emissions so it should not take long to have it licensed and on the road

The new owner of the GTX, i'm sure will take good care of it and probably end up doing some wild upgrades to it, here is the new owners build thread on it over on cp.com

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Niiiiiccee!!! Too bad the paint wasn't left yellow though. But anyways, now you have a KL-ZE to drive while you're setting up your turbo! That's a sweet ride man! Looks like you've got an addiction to the K's! haha too much exclamation marks? Naw!

I actually prefer the blue, I'll one day touch up the door jams to match the rest of the car and one day I'll pull the engine out and do the engine bay lol but when I pull the engine I may drop in a KJ, who knows lol

Those headlights need a good cleaning! Besides that, looks like a sweet, fun little ride.

Thanks but the amount of work the P5 needs compared to the long list the GTX had, the trade makes for a lot less work, although the gtx probably would have been more fun to drive
