  • 4WD 1990 Mazda Protege 1.8 SOHC...RARE!?!?!

There is a public auction happening tomorrow, and in the selection of cars, is a 1990 Mazda Protege 1.8 SOHC 4WD! I was wandering if this is rare, because I have never seen anything like this!
There is also a 1990 Festiva L plus, 5 speed, fuel injectedm, grey, with only 98,000 on the clock, and it even has the nice Festy wheels
Im going to bid on it and hopefully get it for cheap and get it for Tim!! He will be here in just a little over a 2 weeks!!!

If you can get a deal on it, do it!

If Tim doesn't like it, I'm sure you can get your money out of it--or keep it yourself!

Well I went to the auction and got to hear the protege run.........and WOW it was so bad!! It knocked, clacked, and never stopped smoking....HAA
But the funny thing is it still went for 700 bucks!
The Festiva on the other hand ran awesome, it fired right up! And it went for 250! I didnt bid on it but now I think that I should have. :?

The person who bought the Protege probably knew that it shares the parts of the same drivetrain as the newer style 323 GTX. The person who bought it probably has an AWD BPT at home ready to be bolted in.

I really dont think that drivetrain will handle a BPT, and I know for a fact no body around here would do anything like that. Everybody likes there hondas and huge wings :pukeleft:
Besides the protege had 265,000 miles on it!!!!!
