These wires are tucked back behind the passenger tail light. What do they go to? I know there is a 3rd wire that's the pass. rear speaker wire, just don't know what the other ones are for.

Tested wires, and the White/red strip is always hot. Blue/pink strip is hot with the key

Well I was going to say hatch light, but the whole being hot with the key kinda throws that off. I still think the white/red is for the light though.

The two individual wires are for the cargo light. White/red is always live. The blue one is a ground wire going to the hatch latch switch for the light.

I want to say the other connector would be for the washer bottle pump, but not sure about that if it's hot with key on.

I tested my wires this weekend. Two single plugs and two dual plugs. One of the dual plugs was hot on one side with the key one. It also showed no resistance on the Ohm setting with the key off...... puzzled.....

One might be for the wiper fluid bottle pump for the rear sprayer?

So when is the white single hot? Always? With key? What is it fused with (I have no wiring diagram).

The white single is always hot. I do not know where it is fused.
It is to provide power to the cargo light in the same way the dome light works. The door switches provide a ground for the dome light just as the switch built into the cargo hatch provides a ground for the cargo light.

white should always be hot, just like at the radio.

The cargo light white/red wire is fused at the room fuse on the interior panel.

There is a room fuse in the interior fuse panel in the dash that covers most interior lighting like the light and all the dash lighting as well i beleive going off memory.

It runs the radio, dome light, automatic shift interlock and cargo light if not more.
