  • Junkyard score!

One of my favorite threads on one of the other forums I frequent is their "Score" thread. I had a pretty good score at the jy yesterday (although not totally festiva related) and thought I would share......

It's a coilover set up from a 91 Civic hatchback. Tokico hp shocks with ground control coilover bodies and eibach springs. This set up new on ebay is over $500!! The coilovers could be used on a festiva but I'm probably gonna stick with my fms springs. Have these listed for sale on a honda site already. Would love to see all your cool jy, cl, ebay, flea market and yard sale scores here!!

Nice find! I've picked a few things up for good deals before but never anything like that! Oh, and before he even gets started, I ban Paul from this thread because he finds WAAAY too many great deals and such and I doubt this sites server can handle all the things he'll post up :-P
              No festiva for me ATM...

There was actually a rag top on the civic I got that suspension set up from! First time I have ever seen a rag top at the jy, but it was "ragged" out! Handle was broken and the sliders were messed up too. The same car also had a grant steering wheel

LOL! Joseph! I wear a lot of clothes that I've gotten in the cars I've bought. I should really post pics. Seriously, like I wear them to church!

                        lanemeyer14 you DID score! Nice!

A lot of my scores are from the cars I buy. It's mandatory that I score a phillips screwdriver in every car I buy. I have gotten at least 6 or 8 festiva haynes manuals. I got a locked up metro motor in the back of a metro I bought for $200. I sold the head for $70. Sold the metro for $700 Sold the metro haynes manual for $7 lol! I've gotten lots of jumper cables, tools etc. No great stories from actual junkyards that I can think of... yet
