  • They keep asking , but I am not selling!!!

Now that gas is $1.36 a litre my little clown car that I look so stupid driving seems to have turned laughs into interested parties wanting to buy my festiva, I always say that I will take anything over $12000 and people think I am joking, well... I am not!

My 40mpg in town festiva that uses no oil and get a new full set of tires for $200 is worth every penny of that $12000 I am asking, what car can replace my festiva?

sure a new fiesta or small car may get the mpg but what will insurance be compared to my festy??

what about repairs, can I fix a new car like I can my car??

what would you sell yours for?

$10,000 minimum, lol. I finally had someone ask a week or so ago, first one and surely not the last.

Won't happen yet but I have said $3500 will take it. When that comes to reality I am sure I will want to keep it for obvious reasons at that time. The one I am building will be more like 10G's when it is done.

The time is here for our cars to get into the spotlight guys. LOL

Cheap gas, insurance, and I have had very minimal problems. The Ford Festiva is the most reliable car I have ever owned. Very fun to drive too! In Chicago, the low octane gas is $4.50 a gallon. I cannot believe it. Where is this money going?

Festivas don't depreciate either. Not running $300, running $1300 all day every day. And thats the going price for the last 10 years LOL. Take that smart car! Now that the market is back for them you can trade for things you didn't have cash for before. If i had multiple cars id consider trading for a cruiser bike, a work truck, guns etc.

I work at a car parts dealer in Savannah, Ga. I havent worked a day here that i havent been asked if my car was for sale. Its mostly all the college people here driving the huge trucks that are getting 10+_ mpg. I usually tell them $5500. LOL waiting on the gas prices to tip mid $4 and then im expecting someone to bite!

I paid $850 for my car 5 months ago. Ive done about 3-400$ in minor stuff to get it in great running shape. I average about 45mpg out of it now and its given me 0 problems. It has 230k miles on it, dosent burn oil or anything. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. Awesome car, just need to get the A/C fixed and ill be great.

Might think about it for 10k

But then again mine would cost atleast 6-8k to replace...

Stefan, you'd need to add another one or two thousand dollars for your funtop, too!! Good mpgs plus that much fun shouldn't come cheap!

I dunno, I keep buying them. Never really thought about selling any. lol But I have people bugging me daily about where they are, how much they go for, why won't I sell mine, etc. and I usually get the last laugh whenI leave the fuel pump and I see a person peak around to see how much I put in and their head drops.

Festivas are going to make a huge comeback if they havent already. I had a guy wanting to trade me a riced out cavalier for my old Gl and I turned him down. He offered a grand and the cavy and I still turned him down.
