  • window frame flaps in the wind.

Ever since i have owed this car, 92 GL 150k, the upper front part of the window frame vibrates while going down the road, this happens on both doors. Is there any way to fix this or is this just something we live with.

    Safety guy fix!
Put a 2x4, or like, in the door.
Then gently with constant force push on the frame in the direction of the car interior in a uniform as possible manor to move the window frame in ever so slightly.
    Take car for drive.
    Repeat as necessary.

Just make sure you roll the window down first before you reef on the upper door frame.

Ya that would be embarrassing to come back to the site and ask, why did my window break.

OH Crap forgot to report back, i did the 2x4 adjustment and it worked well, no more window frame flutter. It did take a couple tries but all is well.

Drop a note to Safety Guy, as it was his fix.
I'm sure he would like to know he had a part in helping fix something!

Calling Karl The Safty Guy, your idea to use a 2x4 to help move the window jamb worked well, i did use a longer board so that it took less pressure to bend it, as i mentioned before it worked well so thanks for the tip.
