  • F mounts lost paradise

    Hey fellas,

You may have noticed I was having problems regarding F series mounts since I got no welder nearby.

I have found a local metal-work school that can make any metal part you bring them, assuring you provide em with the cad drawings. I am able to make those. I'll get a price quote in August and may very well be able to provide a constant supply of F tranny mounts for anyone interested.

    Just had to share!

Interesting. Post pictures of the CAD models when done. I may be interested in this, although I really want to go with the G series. Any chance at doing one of those?

Hmmm well the problem with Fs and Gs is that you have to try it on your car before being able to determine the needed shape and size. My CAD drawing will be approximate for sure and may not be spot on the first time. But I'll do my best to provide the most accurate solution

Concerning G series, I have no G tranny around me. Quote a famous character here, I'd say: "if anyone is willing to lend me one, I could go ahead"
