Your holy ghost will not save you.
Your God plutonium will not save you.
In fact...
...You will not be saved!"
A CB radio (even a portable) comes in handy. DriverOne suggested it to me before our trip and it definitely did help me out. Traffic was backing up on the interstate and lots off people were getting off at an exit that we could see ahead. The CB allowed us to hear that the backup was caused by an accident in the median coming the opposite direction less than a mile ahead and traffic was was moving on OK after it. We stayed on and were back up to speed after about 10 minutes.
I have everything you guy's have mentioned, besides a working CB, and a spare tire... haha, I know it's risky as heck, but I haven't had time or been able to find a tire that will work for me after I did my aspire swap with escort calipers. I have an escort rim that will work, I just dont have a tire with me... Maybe I'll bring the rim with and stop at a few tire places on the way to see if they have any good used ones.
Alright!! Got a spare tire now as well! I found out my capri parts car had the right size tires, so I dismounted one off of the capri rim, and mounted it on my escort steelie. All ready to leave tomorrow!
as if there was any other place to be Saturday...sheeeeesh!!!
