  • New Mileage High

Filled up today, 51.7mpg. That's the best ever for me. The Festy gets better mileage than my Gold Wing!!

    Woah is this conversion right?

    51 MPG converted to KM/L (L/100KM) is 21.68 KM/L (4.61 L/100KM).

That's because your 'wing has crappy gearing and a huge frontal area with a very high cD.

I be amazed if you ever broke a 3 tank average of 45mpg on that bike.

It's perfectly capable of dollying a '89 Civic DX sedan, for 105 miles, though.

What do you have aginst a huge frontal area? Especially when later in this post you reference Dolly.

Not to mention Dolly's high polar moment of inertia!

            As opposed to Twiggy, especially.
