G-series trans? General BP swap Q's

First of all, is there a guide to installing/ obtaining a G-series trans? I am looking to find a 5-spd for my planned BP+T/ B6+T swap. (I say +T because I'll be using my own turbo.)

What cars had a G-series trans? I know the EGT's had the BP's, did they have the G-series, too? Can it connect to the stock shifter arms?

Searched but didn't find too much.

EGT's had a hydro g series I believe, Also, a sticky in the custom engine and drivetrain section, http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11540
