OK, I'm slack. I have owed this post all week and just couldn't get time for it.
This is a big THANK YOU to kartracer46 and Scitzz.
Last Sunday afternoon, I was driving on I-85 with kartracer46, Jay, and his son when the head gasket in Kermit decided to go. I got the car off the highway and Jay checked the engine out. Stroke of luck that he happened to be here at the time. Well, Kermit was not going anywhere under his own power, so I called the closest friend I knew, Scitzz, Paul, who was about 20 minutes from where we were. Luckily, he was not working. Paul came out and hooked Kermit up to Babystiva and towed it back to my house. It was too late to get parts, but Jay and Paul started tearing the engine apart so it could be fixed in the morning when the McParts store opened. Then Monday morning Jay got my baby back up and running. Not down a day! You guys are awesome.
I can never repay all the awesome help I've had from my Festiva friends, not just this weekend, but all the time. You guys are the best.
