I used to have a flo-pro on my old BP festiva, but that's not a magnaflow and I don't have the car to make a sound clip so my post is pretty much useless lol
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
It has a stock e manifold, no cat, 2 inch pipe to a 2 1/4" magnaflow, necked down to a 1 7/8" tailpipe. The magnaflow has gotten louder after about 3 years of use. It uses a wadding inside of it, like a glasspack, except the wadding is a stainless steel mesh. It's too loud for me.
My Festiva has no muffler...just a 2" tailpipe behind the cat, exitting at the stock location. It sounds great! Not loud at all until about 4000 RPM. On the highway I can barely hear it.
I can shoot a video with sound. How would I upload a sound bite?
'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back
Try some of the You Tube videos, just to listen to what they sound like. A bunch of them are on this board and might respond as to what muffler they use.
