Festyxfi has done it a lot. Kartracer does it too. I've done it once a long time ago. I will be doing it more. Tow bar yes. Kartracer gets 38 mpg doing it. Max distance was just under 1,000 miles.
I guess you can say it worked.

Used an auto to tow a 5 spd.
