  • Group buy on AEM Widebands Anyone?

How many people would be interested in a group buy of AEM Wideband controllers?

The purpose is for everyone to save a few bucks by ordering in bulk.

There's a seller on eBay right now who has them for 168 with free shipping, if we could get 10 people together Im sure he would be willing to work on the price a little.

I just wanted to see if there was any Interest seeing how there are so many boosted cars here, and I'm about to buy one for my B6T project, it seemed like a good idea.

So who is generally interested if we can get the price down to 155 ?

Everyone running a turbo should be using one of these. That is unless you like replacing engines.

I'd be in if I didn't already have an innovate WB.

I do have interest but I won't have the cash in time to get in on a group buy

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I'm new to Turbos but not new to cars. This seems a little off though. Forgive me if i'm wrong but doesn't a stock Turbo car like an XR2 run into the hundreds of thousands of miles without blowing up if one uses the stock ecu and everything else untouched.

Not trying to flame here but I really do want to learn as much as possible and seeing what people are buying for want or for need is really helpful to me.

Again, Sorry if this upsets you. Really not trying to call you out.

But things happen. Like the fuel pump starts to wear out and the fuel rail does t get enough pressure causing it to lean out. The ecu may not see the problem in time.

Also factory tunes and boost levels tend to be on the conservative side so they can ensure those years of service. When you start upping the power and pushing the limits it's always good to have things like the wide-band to CYA

Gomez, just think of it as an extra gauge to make sure everything is working the way it should, except this one REALLY helps when you crank up the boost
