  • LCA sway bar bushing recomondations

I've seen the moog sway bar bushings for the LCA's pretty cheap and was wondering if there worth the money or too buy stock oem ones. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

I like the blue Moog's. IIRC they are poly instead of rubber like the OEM replacements.

A lot of lcas come complete with a ball joint. It seems that on high mile cars the balljoints are in worse shape than the lca bushings and decay first. I'd get a complete assy and buy the moogs for a future install if you plan on keeping the car a while.

^^ x2 That's what I did. I replaced the LCA's (come with new ball joints) and the tie rod ends all at the same time. I then bought the Moog's separately to use in place of the rubber bushings that came with the new LCA's.

        Big improvement in handling overall.

^i already had to replace my outer tie rod ends to the escort ones because of my aspire swap. I ordered the complete LCA, outer tie rod and inner tie rod kit it will be here tommorow and the blue bushings were the ones I was wondering about. So I should definantely pull the trigger on them?

The blue Moog's are a bit tougher to put on sometimes (denser material than the usual rubber), but I think they're a nice upgrade. Just be sure and use them on both sides. I didn't in one instance and the handling got weird. Not necessarily unsafe, just different from side to side.
