someone hit my wifes car :(

i have put alot of work into this car over the years to get it to this point and then on friday someone ran into her when she was stopped to make a right turn the insurance company will prob total it and it pisses me off! i painted it myself as a suprise for her and just got finished replacing the floorboards, tune up and my friend painted a peacock feather on the valve cover and i just tuned it up and put 400 bucks worth of tires on it. i traded someone on the site some parts for the wheels and now it all doesnt matter i cant believe this happened. here are the pics i actually was going to post some pics before it got wrecked because i wanted you guys to see.











my wife loves this car and some punk hit her im just glad shes ok

man that sucks....I hate to say it but you are probably right. I know they would total it in Ohio. Maybe your state makes the person at fault fix it.....

Check with the guys insurance company, maybe you could buy it back for cheep. Just a thought.

Get it appraised for actual value. I can almost guarantee the KBB value the insurance company will try to use is way under what that thing is worth. May be a long shot, but it never hurts.

When my Aspire SE was hit, 8 weeks after I bought it, the ins. co. totaled it but let me buy it back for $200 IIRC. So I got what I paid for the car ($1200) from the ins. co., and they even paid my deductible! So after buying the car back and getting some parts from another member with a white parts Aspire, I now have $400 net into the car. Plus wheels off of Casper with new tires, and parts for repairs (windshield, struts, brakes, timing belt, water pump, etc.), I'm back up to $1200.

Omni's are sweet cars man! Glad she is ok, but sorry for your loss. you should take as much as you can for it and then get your wife a GLHS omni then she can run that punk kid over!

Man....my son had a rust free NC omni sitting in my yard for a year and a half and I told him to get it gone....he donated it to charity....they towed it away just before winter.
