  • I fit

I was getting out of my car today when a random passerby laughed at me and asked "how's that going for you?" I'm 6'8'' and fit perfectly into the festiva. If anything its roomy for me. I have no doubt that I look ridiculous when getting into the vehicle but once I'm in I fit. Has anyone else out there been given a hard time for driving a festiva?

I'm 6'1" and 240 so it's not quite as bad but when people talk about how small the car is I tell them a Festiva is the ultimate optical illusion. It may look small but it's all room inside. I then have them sit in the car and close the door. Everyone who does is amazed by how roomy the interior is.

6'5" and just under 300lbs here. People give me excrement about driving my Legend, and it's a full sized car! I've actually been in full size cars that have less room in them than some smaller cars I've driven, including the Festy!

I've had countless people laugh at me at random gas stations, having a four inch Mohawk and being 6'3" and 250 doesn't help either lol

I usually make it a point to NOT laugh at people who are 6'-3" and 250Lbs and have a Mohawk.

There is way more driving room in my Festy than in either my Mustang or my F250.

I should have taken pics of it, but I was at the junkyard on Tuesday and the festiva I pulled parts out of the yard had written clown car on it cuz it had no badges

Good one! I'll have to remember that! Much better than when I tell people "my car makes gas" LOL Everyone laughed at mine until gas hit $3.50. Now they all want to buy it I have 7 at my shop and I've had 2 people stop this week wanting to buy one. I typically get about 1 person a week who stops in looking for one

Sometimes I drive a Crown Vic interceptor at work, or a Blazer or an Explorer, or a Durango, etc. All big trucks or SUVs. Most don't have the kind of room I enjoy in my Festiva because they are crammed with consoles, armrests, etc., not to mention police type radio brackets and so forth. Not much room to me!

Festivas are small on the outside, but roomy enough on the inside, and the simplicity keeps that room REAL!
