Tried searching for celica coilovers, none with metal tops came up. I'm just looking for the coilover sleeves,I know the springs from eBay are useless thou. Not actual coilovers.

Sleeves don't generally have tops, they're a threaded tube with two large nuts, one for a spring perch, the other to lock the first one. Generally, the upper spring perch is part of, or attaches to, the upper mount.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Yeah I know what the sleeves are, But I was looking for the set that had the metal upper mount. I found a set locally and I'll be picking them up soon. I want the car to be lowered but just a little, and not body roll so much. So I figured I would give these a try. Have any of you guys used the aspire springs with these? Mine are uncut and I'm curious if I'll run into any issues.

Got any idea what the spring rate is for those civic coils?

Stock springs won't work. You need springs designed for coil overs. They're cheap and easy to get.

I'm not having any luck finding cheap and appropriate springs. I have 15's and the aspire struts so I'd like my car to be about an inch or two lower than it is now, so the 15's don't rub to bad on the crappy roads around me. I was also wondering what spring rate is a happy medium between ride comfort/ performance with the coilovers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
