  • Gained MPG's!!!

With my First fill up I got 36.6mpg. This was after getting the car fixed and it had been sitting probably for a year since it was last driven.

So then the next fill up I got 38.3mpg on pretty much all new gas. Towards the end of this tank I changed the air filter. Im pretty sure the air filter hadnt of been changed for at least 3 or maybe 4 years. It was really bad.

I just filled up today and am getting 42.4mpg. No real driving changes during this last tank. Im going to claim it on the air filter.

Just thought I would share. Always excited to save more money!!! Gas jumped from 3.17 yesterday morning to 3.40 by the time I got off yesterday afternoon.

If you're feeling frisky leave for work early and drive 50-55. You can break 50 mpg doing that.

+1. I have done this just putting around 45-50 mph. If you barely touch the pedal our festies can save you a boat load in a year. I was making 20 bucks last 2 weeks worth of driving 20 miles round trip to work and back.

I'm a 16 year old with a lead foot, frequent burnouts to show off my swagger wagon, and I still get around 40 mpg, most driving is 45-50mph, with mid grade to fight knock I shift to 5th at 35

I drive like a grandpa and I'm only 18, I get pretty decent gas mileage (yet for some reason I can't convince the car owner(my mom) to allow me to post things to fuelly from that car)
