I am a recent Festi convert after buying my '89 Silver L. I am driving it to work for now until I get another hoopdy to drive, then I plan on gutt'n her and going for the gold. I want to set her up for "Cone Killing". SCCA or something like that. My friends out in Cali really get into it with their Festi's and Focus' and the lot. I really would like to get hooked up with people in or near Kansas City, Missouri.
I like doing things myself and would like to find out where to find parts and salvage for these cars, including the swap-outs like the Mazda's and Capri's.
It would be nice just to find a decent looking set of wheels and tires for it. Where?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome.. congrats on the purchase. I'm in Kansas City, KS.. good see someone else in this area. A good place to start looking for any parts is at the picknpull on Truman road. Any decent rims and tires goes quite quickly.. but i've gotten lucky and few times. A list of compatible wheels are down in the custom section. You can also look at car-parts.com for engines, one junkyard in town has 10 B6D's from capri's. The picknpull right now does have a B6T in a capri.. I just don't trust their engines.
