Registered Festivas left on the road!

Numerous folks that I have struck up conversations with (Festys do get stared-at these days around here) have not-fondly mentioned that their cars were scrapped or abandoned because they were told by jobbers such a Ford and NAPA that parts were unavailable. Springs being the most common reason, starting already 10 years ago.
Bringing parts in from out-of-Country is slow and expensive. Last year I couldn't get a Festy clutch cable for love or money anywhere in Canada and ultimately had to order one through Rock Auto in the US. This type of transaction is slow and expensive and heaven forbid the part has to be returned or exchanged.

Does anyone have a link to vin number cut off by model year, or at least total production run per year model?
"YAH! 1 out of 2873 my value just went up" "Weird...why so few of the '92. Mine is also a 92!"
Is there a Festiva registry? Who has which car that was built when?'88 LX (VIN#30) one of the first Built 12/86
'88 L (VIN#55753) Built 12/87
'93 GL one of the last Built 5/19/93
