  • Dyno run: 241 wheel hp N/A

Its not a festy , its my modded 2002 taurus with 94 sho engine.

241.8 hp @ 6800 at the wheels (no boost no nitro - All Motor.)
    197.5 ft/lbs @ 5600

Makes about 278 crank HP if you apply the 15% loss rule.

And the dyno is brand new , and it looks like legit numbers because my buddy went in with his F250 2011 with the 385hp 6.2 and it pulled a 311hp at the wheels.

    Very nice :thumbright:

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

        What mods?
I got a chip (came with car so no idea what is on it)
        CAI
All custom exhaust except for the y pipe
On a 92 sho and she pulls pretty good.
I want a ballpark for my hp

Cool. There's a SHO engine sitting at a garage near me in the lot with a tarp over it. I want it in my Escort, but I think the guy knows what he has. The car was sitting for a long time and now it's gone, but the engine still sits there.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

if you don't mind (PM would work) how much you got invested and what is the best mod. I do understand with these you have to have the full package to have all the items worth while.

                15k in the car

4-5k in the engine/trans , including a full rebuild/gaskets/sensors. And ive done all the work.

Its hard to tell the best mod on this setup since Ive done everything in the same time.

For more HP , go turbo. you will get around 400-500 hp for that kind of money.

                  i want too
but the SHO is going to be the DD for awhile until I get some money rolling.
then i still want to put the sho motor into something light weight eventually
                  like a miata
(and no not a festy.......as of right now lol)

                      Nice work indeed :thumbright:

On a side note, last night I got to go for a ride in my friend's 95'(I think 95') SHO, it's all stock but still pulls pretty good, plus a nice sounding engine

Good numbers! My uncle had a first gen SHO. He threw a supercharger on it and was dyno'd at just shy of 300hp. In the first two gears when you gunned it it would switch lanes with out you turning the wheel. I think he out a limited slip of some sort in it.

Yes the torque steer is pretty bad , but it helped alot when i got these tires (245).

Theres also the Quaife , which is a LSD , but it costs 1500$ for the diff alone. I have heard that , that thing is great.
