is there any difference between the fuel tank for a fuel injected automatic 92 and a 89 carb? (bolt pattern or size?)

As far as the tank goes, i dont think so. But remember the cap is different because of the fuel pump and wiring etc.

fuelly's have an extra return line. I can't recall if the sender hole is the same or not. But I will trade you a fuelly tank for a carby tank if you have one.

fuel tanks are different carb to efi. They are not interchangable. The efi tank has a sump well that the carb tank does not, and the pump/sending unit ports are different sizes.
