  • New BP Festi owner

    Hi guys,

I finally convinced my friend to sell me his BP powered Festiva today. I am now the pround owner of another Festiva and back in the game. It has oil leaks from the cam or crank seals and also the distributor o ring so I'll need to address that. The left front tire is bald but overall, it runs awesome and the engine is clean as heck. He rebuilt it with new rings and bearings about three years ago. I need to secure the ECU because it got dislodged from its zip tie home.

I'll take pics tomorrow and post them. It was at FM3 last year so there might be pics of it somewhere on here. I can't wait to start driving it everyday. So happy to be back in Festiva world!

Okay, just went out and took some pics. The last pic you can see the ecu hanging, so I need to fab a way to mount it.

So sorry for the gigantic pictures, I thought I resized them smaller than they are.

Thanks guys, I got it for $800 because I think he needed some cash to buy a new Focus for the family. I didn't get a chance to really get on it due to rain today and the bald front tire.

I really want to paint it black on top and Kawasaki green from the windows down. I used to own the lime green Festiva just to put a name to a face. Can't wait to start working on it tomorrow.

I remember that car. It was at FM3 and 4. How is Roger? Is he out of Fetivas since you bought this one? Glad you are back and hope you can make it to Madness this year.
