Yup, you buy parts intended for other cars and modify them to make them work on a festiva
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

also its performance*
hard to find parts when you cant spell them
i recommend your local junkyard, IMHO keeping the stock engine if you want performance is both an exercise in futility and a major drain on the wallet compared to a simple engine swap.
swap in 1.5/1.6/1.8 DOHC engine in a couple hours.
enjoy for a few months, then crave more.
insert turbo and let the fun/addiction commence.Last edited by IdealSociety; 08-05-2011, 04:14 PM.1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!
