    That one headlight is totally an open container violation! But I have to admit I have done some of these. It's what ya gotta do in a pinch!

        My son's battery cable terminal broke and left him sitting on the side of I-85. He was heading to my house to change the alt which was bad. I used a pair of vise grips to get the battery terminal to hold until we could get to my house about 30 miles away.

            never used a C clamp but I have used vise grips on battery terminals on my dad's 78 F600

                Some of those were actually pretty clever, mind you if a car salesman tells you the car has never been in a collision and there are staples holding the airbag cover closed...

                    The c-clamp on the battery looks like it is touching both posts! Fire waiting to happen!
                    The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!
