  • If the Festiva and the Mk I Golf had a Baby?

    I'd never seen this car before and then saw it in an old commercial on streetfire. I like it.

    Hmmm... not sure if I like it or not yet. I don't like the mirrors, that I know for sure. However, you definitely nailed it on the two cars it looks like it came from Maybe with a early '90s Mercedes nose job as an afterthought as well.
    No festiva for me ATM...

          Id have to see some more angles before I like that one. That one is a little posed. It may have way too much glass on it. I do see how the whole thing is very similar.

                Sadly, it's one of those cars the rest of the world got, but we didn't.

                      Lol, my Buddys got a chevette in decent shape (needs basic stuff, ball joints & bushings) sitting in his garage..for the last 6 years or so. The body and interior are immaculate, I've been trying to talk him into spending a couple hundred on restoring it...maybe one of these days we'll get er back on the road. It was his moms car, so eventually I know he'll come around.

                        Not according to this;

                        It actually replaced the Chevette, from what I gathered scanning the page.

                          The Opel is obviously newer, but that's like saying the Rio5 isn't a Festiva.

                            The Opel is front wheel drive.

                            The Chevette, eh, not so much.
