Mileage

Checked my mileage this morn after yesterdays drive,
combination of in town ,and city was 36 mpg ,
I should have checked my speedo vs mile markers at 60 mph. to see how far off it was , with the taller tires on it ,my mileage may have been a little shy ,so my mpg may have been higher , I will have to do a comparison to see how far off these new tires are on the highway.

175/70/13 on a 13 X 6.5 rim

Yes that is what I thought ,I am going 67.6 actual mph when my speedo says 65.
and the car is less than 1/2 " higher than stock.
So my mileage is really higher than thought , because I am traveling more miles than actually being clocked.
So my city/highway avg. is prolly closer to 37-37.5,
Not too bad for a combo avg.

37 is what I average on the festiva, maybe 39ish on the highway if i'm lucky. Dad averages 45 highway on his, normally 65 straight run.

37 for a combo isn't bad I should be able to get over 40 on the highway ,I always try ,but I can never keep my foot out of it to get accurate reading,I really do try. :lol:
