  • Look what I found today!

I (reluctantly) took my daughter to a birthday party this morning and look what the neighbor had!

See the note on the windshield? Left my number in case she/he wants to sell it. Looks like it hasn't been driven in a while. Hope they consider letting it go. Anyone from here owns it? I don't think I've seen that car before.

That looks really nice. What kind of grill and bumper is that?

If it was my door, I wouldn't want a stranger knocking on it to ask me if I want to sell a car I have outside. If they want to sell it (which I doubt) they can call me and I'll gladly take it off their hands.

Good luck! That would be an awesome start to a project! Or a new member, they obviously put some money into the car.

To me walking on to my property, up to my car, lifting the wiper and leaving a note is MORE invasive than knocking. I have knocked on hundreds of doors about cars and bikes and never gotten a bad reaction. Usually smiles and a nice conversation. Occasionally I get to buy.

Thanks for letting me know your preferences If I'm in front of your house, I'll be sure to knock. If you are in front of mine, leave a note

                      hahaha^^

I prefer a note as well. I moved my cars behind my shed so people would stop coming. I was getting a knock on the door probably once a week. I have 3 festivas, a Bmw 325, and my dads 300m. Drove me nuts, but I was nice :p

I constantly had people knocking on my door at all sorts of random times, many after 10pm. WRONG answer, I am already in bed by then during the week.
I have my 3 festys in the driveway and everyone seems to think they are for sale.
After being interrupted during meals, movies and sleep I had enough.
I finally put a note on my door that said:
DO NOT KNOCK ON DOOR ABOUT THE CARS.
No the Festivas are not for sale.
If you feel the need to still make an offer,
write down your info and the offer and put it in the mailbox.
I will consider the offer and if I don't like it I
will turn your name and number over to the local police
                              for trespassing on private property.
You did see the "No Trespassing" signs correct?
