    Can Anyone Identify This Carburetor?

…. Back on July 28 of this year, I went to the auction bought a box lot and posted here on or about that date. Ref: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ion#post439140
Back then I was behind in my chores and just did not have the time until now to get this carburetor somewhat cleaned up so I could POST the following pics.
…. I have absolutely NO knowledge, what-so-ever, of this carburetor and am hoping someone here can give me some encouraging info as to whether I could use it for Festivie or not. I did try to look up the tag # (see pic) but found little or NO direct info on it. Being a HOLLEY I was a bit surprised at that. I think this carburetor came off a Volkswagen. The end castings that fit on the ends of the intake manifold, which this carburetor was bolted to, have the Volkswagen insignia stamped on them. So, give these pics a good look and maybe there will be something that is recognizable as to whether it could be used on Festivie or not.

Might be Holley "Bug Spray" aftermarket VW carb popular in the 70's. I had one on one of my many VW's.

There's probably better candidates for a carb swap than what's pictured.

The "grease zerk" is what you snap the outer sheath of the throttle cable onto. Sorta the same as some of the cable ends now.
