Digifant II is the ECU (and name of the fuel injection system). They were installed in mark 2 golfs and jettas with the 1.8L engine. It is known to be a very crappy injection system.
Central Electric II was a fusebox (and wiring) that VW used in many models from 1989 through 1999.
What is nice about CE2 (and VW in general) is that in that era, an engine swap, or dash swap was literally plug and play. Lego blocks for adults
ABA is an engine code for 2.0L 8V engines that VW installed in cars from 1993 through 1999. The ABA is simply a progression engine since the start of the watercooled lineup (1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8L) They still use this engine with code name change and slight variations today.
The 2.0L ABA (also known as 2.slow) was a very popular engine, very tough (bulletproof) and very low maintenance. It became very popular for swaps into earlier models (mark 1's and 2) since the motor mounts are the same (or can be adapted very easily). This engine is also known to accept boost very well (double stacked headgasket to reduce engine compression).
