  • Perfect guage package?

The Ultimate Aftermarket Automotive Gauges For Any Vehicle. Shop our huge selection of high-performance and customizable gauges - backed by a Lifetime Warranty!

Seems it would give me everything I would ever need to know at a glance. Its a tad pricey, but I could sell my tach cluster to offset the cost.

Essentially, I want a GPS speedo because I want my speed accurately no matter what I do to the wheels/ tranny. I also want to (obviouslly) keep the tach, and an 8k will do fine as a BP (biggest engine I'd ever try to put in) can only rev to 6500 anyway. I wanted a 160 or 200 mph speedo, but I figure if I go over 120 it will be a rarity and I can always use the digital readout on the small LCD for higher speeds.

I'm thinking black face w/ euro numbers and reverse colbalt blue lighting. Perhaps a Ford racing logo? Festiva logo?

Rev limit is 7k for the BP. That's what mine does, if I remember correctly.

Well if you go out and purchase all the individual guages, sensors, wiring kits, and pods to hold them you will exceed that price using good equipment. It is not a bad deal considering they even allow some customizing. A Dakota kit costs twice that for a digital setup.

I bought 2 sets of these from speedhut. These are not GPS units , but they are quality.

                  This is in the taurus.

                  This is in the shogun.

Yeah, BP redlines at 7000, fuel cutout at 7200... as me how I know The Miata guys say that they will hold up to 8k though, just have to get the it "rechipped" or flashed or whatever it is they call it.
